By accessing the Kitaab KDP website or installing the Kitaab KDP Chrome extension (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Kitaab KDP is a market-research toolkit for self-publishers. The free tier provides essential niche and competitor research tools; Kitaab KDP Pro is a paid upgrade that unlocks advanced analytics, listing optimization, and profitability tools. All sales estimates, royalty projections, and niche scores are estimates for planning purposes only; actual results vary with Amazon's policies, pricing, advertising, and market conditions.

Kitaab KDP is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon.com, Inc.

3. Pro License

A Pro purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable license to use the Pro features of the extension. You may not share, resell, or redistribute your license key. We may validate, suspend, or revoke licenses that are refunded, charged back, shared publicly, or used in breach of these terms.

4. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the money-back guarantee stated on our pricing page at the time of purchase. To request a refund, contact us at support@kitaab.app with your order details.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent, disable, or tamper with the extension's license validation;
  • Use the Service to violate Amazon's Terms of Service or any applicable law;
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute the Service's code, design, or proprietary scoring models;
  • Represent the Service's estimates as guarantees of sales or income.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service's code, design, content, and proprietary scoring methodologies are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent, except as permitted by your license.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, estimate, or recommendation. Publishing decisions made using the Service are your sole responsibility.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kitaab KDP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including any financial decisions made based on its data. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
