Kitaab (كِتَاب)

Derived from the Arabic root K-T-B, meaning "to write" or "to record."

In Urdu, Hindi, Turkish, and Swahili, the word simply means Book.

I chose this name because it represents the universal language of knowledge. Whether you write in English, code in JavaScript, or dream in stories, the goal is the same: to leave a record. This tool handles the math so you can focus on the legacy.

Hi, I'm Ameen A. Mohiyuddin.

By day, I'm a software engineer. In the margins of the night, I'm the author of Schoolyard Legends: 101 Myths, Bizarre Facts & False Memories Millennials Grew Up With.

While writing my manuscript, I hit a moment of serious doubt. I was trading hundreds of hours, missing movie nights and weekends with my kids typing away at a book I wasn't sure anyone would read. I wanted an audience beyond just my supportive wife.

When I looked to validate my ideas, I realized the existing market research tools were clunky, overwhelming, and locked behind expensive monthly subscriptions. As an aspiring author, I refused to make recurring financial commitments just to know if my book might sell.

So, I built the solution myself.

The Original Kitaab Concept Logo

Kitaab is the tool you start with before writing your first page, and stick with to optimize every book after. Unlike other tools that focus on Revenue (a vanity metric), Kitaab is built to maximize your Profit—your actual take-home pay. It cuts through the clutter, showing you critical market data directly inside Amazon.

Best of all, it's a one-time purchase: no subscriptions, no massive pop-ups, just the insights you need to make the most of your hard work.

101 Myths, Bizarre Facts & False Memories Millennials Grew Up With finally sets the record straight. It delivers definitive answers to all those open-ended debates, urban legends, and bizarre rumors of your youth.
